Wholeheartedly agree. more children can name 'brands' than they can wildflowers or native animals and birds. The disconnect from nature is becoming a widening chasm
Kids should have the chance to learn real life skills like cooking, gardening, and growing their own food. There’s something good in getting muddy hands, planting seeds, wandering the woods, and watching things grow through the seasons. It teaches patience, respect for nature, and an appreciation for where food truly comes from. A small garden can teach lessons no screen ever will. 🌿
