What is EmployAbility Service? EmployAbility Service is an employment and recruitment service to assist people with disability to secure and maintain a job in the open labour market. Who is eligible? People with disability who are job ready and need a level of support to succeed in long-term and suitable employment. What service for businesses and clients is available? EmployAbility Service provides a range of support to employers and people with a disability, through Job Coaches. The range of supports include:

Individual Needs Assessment
Vocational Profiling and Career Planning
Individual Employment Plan
Job Sourcing and Job Matching
On-the-Job Support and Coaching
Advice and Support to Employers
Follow-up Support and Mentoring to both Employers and Employees.

Employability Service Kerry is now a JAM Card-friendly organisation. Employability Service staff have completed JAM Card awareness training to ensure everyone knows how to respond in an inclusive way... We have JAM Cards available, just ask a member of our team.

Did you know you might be able to get the Household Benefits Package (HBP) even if you're under 70?

If you're between 66 and 70, you can get the HBP if you are getting a qualifying social welfare payment, such as:

➡️ State Pension
➡️ Bereaved Partner's Pension
➡️ Carer's Allowance
Or, if you pass a means test

If you're under 66, you can get the HBP if you're getting a qualifying social welfare payment such as:

➡️ Disabilty Allowance
➡️ Blind Pension
➡️ Carer's Allowance

The HBP can help with the cost of your electricity or gas, and it makes your TV licence free.
