What is EmployAbility Service? EmployAbility Service is an employment and recruitment service to assist people with disability to secure and maintain a job in the open labour market. Who is eligi

ble? People with disability who are job ready and need a level of support to succeed in long-term and suitable employment. What service for businesses and clients is available? EmployAbility Service provides a range of support to employers and people with a disability, through Job Coaches. The range of supports include:

Individual Needs Assessment
Vocational Profiling and Career Planning
Individual Employment Plan
Job Sourcing and Job Matching
On-the-Job Support and Coaching
Advice and Support to Employers
Follow-up Support and Mentoring to both Employers and Employees.

Reminder that our Autism Friendly Hours are every Wednesday.
Times are from 10:00 to 12:30. 😆👍
During this time, the following will be implemented to support clients who may require additional supports:
• Low lighting. 🔆
• Low/reduced volume of internal phones, doorbell, and general office environment. 📲☎️📞🎧
• All staff to be wearing Job Coach lanyards to be easily identified. 🪪
• Between 10:00 and 12:30 on Wednesdays is the times to help avoid busy traffic and commuters. 🚦🚗🚕🚓🚴‍♀️
• Sensory objects available such as, ear defenders, sunglasses, and fidget spinners. 😎🕶🎧
• Social story available regarding Job Coach role and how we can support the person to find employment. 📖🧑‍🏫
• Also walk in service available at these times, where a Job coach will be available to meet with a person, who would like more information or a service overview. 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️
• Private meeting rooms available away from office environment. 🏣
• Autism friendly room. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️🛠🏗
