Last weekend we had a packed schedule of trainings and exercises:

We attended, along with members from Cork City Civil Defence, Irish Red Cross, The Defence Forces, as well as Paramedics and Doctors from the HSE Ireland/National Ambulance Service (NAS). An incredible insightful and immersive training weekend.

A very active and sunny weekend 😎

🏐 Kerry V Donegal Match: we were delighted to assist our friends at Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Killarney in providing medical cover at Fitzgeralds Stadium for the football match. Disappointing result in the game (for Kerry fans!) but was great to have our two organisations working together! Well done to everyone involved πŸ‘

🎡 Fleadh Cheoil ChiarraΓ: On Saturday and Sunday we provided crews to Caherciveen. Huge thanks to all the members (over 20 volunteers) who helped out over the last 2 weekends πŸ™Œ

πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Donal Walsh Spa Challenge: Sunday also so us provide an ambulance and First Aiders to the this incredible event for a great cause. We are always thrilled to help out for this event, and huge thanks to our members for giving up their time!

πŸ”Ž Search & Resuce Training: Our SAR team were keeping up their skills on Sunday when they carried out training in Ballyseedy Woods. With everything else going on, it was great to have our team out, making sure they're ready for the next call-out.

🚀 Advanced Power Boat Training: 2 of our members made the trip down to our colleagues at Cork West Civil Defence over the last 2 weekends to complete this great course. These skills will play a pivotal role for our boat crews and help out communities going forward. Huge well done to all who attended the training. πŸ‘

πŸŽ–66th International Military Pilgrimage to Lourdes: 6 of our members travelled to Lourdes last Thursday and, along with other Civil Defence members from other units, took part in the Military Pilgrimage (another post to follow on this).
