Kerry Model Rail Association

Kerry Model Rail Association One of Blennerville's leading tourist destinations the Kerry Model Railway was set up in 2013 to provide a setting to showcase our Model Railway

Kerry is the only county in Ireland that had five different Gauges of Railway. The fifth being the Lartigue in Listowel. We in the Kerry Model Railway association intend replicating the five in miniature. Four of which will be working, and all will culminate at Tralee Railway Station. The other which is the Lartigue, a model will be made of it and will be stationary. This is a big undertaking for

our club and will take time.

“Work in Progress“
We have already started and the enthusiasm of everyone in the Club is abounding. In case people would like to know also we are putting a Railway Museum together to blend in with our Model Railway. We would like if at all possible if people would contribute some Railway Artifacts to increase this Exhibit. On behalf of the Club I would like to thank everyone who came to see the Exhibit and made a donation and contribution of items towards the upgrading of our Model Railway. It is our intention to have by next year a tourist product second to none. We thank you for reading this and from time to time we will be posting up to date progress.
