🐻🌧️ Active Week – Day 4: Teddy Bears’ Picnic! 🌧️🐻

Although the weather wasn’t on our side today, that didn’t stop the fun! ☔😊

Our Juniors, Seniors, First and Second Class enjoyed an indoor Teddy Bears’ Picnic filled with fun, laughter and plenty of teddy bear adventures. 🧸🧺

While the children were away at break, the teddy bears decided to have a little fun of their own in Second Class! 🤭🐻 They got up to all sorts of mischief around the classroom and left plenty of surprises behind for the children to discover when they returned. 😂🎨📚

The children loved seeing what their cheeky bears had been up to, and there were lots of smiles and giggles all around! 😄✨

Another fantastic day of Active Week fun! 🎉💙

🏅☀️ What a fantastic day at Sports Day! 🎉

A huge thank you to Tara for all her hard work organising such a wonderful event. 👏💙 The weather was on our side, the children had an amazing time, and there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and sporting achievements throughout the day. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🌟

📚🌟 Summer Stars Reading Adventure 2026 🌟📚

Looking for a fun way to keep children reading over the summer? Why not join the Summer Stars Reading Adventure at your local library!

Summer Stars is a FREE national reading programme running from June to the end of August. Children of all ages can take part, borrow books, eBooks or audiobooks, track their reading, and enjoy lots of library events and activities throughout the summer. Every child who reads even one book is considered a Summer Star! 📖⭐

Meath Libraries have launched their 2026 programme, including storytimes, crafts and STEAM activities across library branches. Registration is free through your local library. 📚

It’s Day 2 of Active Week and the excitement is in full swing! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨

We’re delighted to have GK Stage Academy back with us today, getting everyone moving, dancing, and having fun! 💃🕺🎶 The tunes are blaring 🔊🎵, the energy is high ⚡, and smiles are everywhere 😄.

What a fantastic way to stay active, boost our wellbeing, and enjoy Active Week together! 🌟🙌

⚖️ Maths in Action – 3rd Class ⚖️

Today, our 3rd Class pupils explored the topic of weight through a range of fun, hands-on activities. The children estimated, compared, and measured the weight of different objects using scales, helping them develop a practical understanding of kilograms and grams.

It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, teamwork, and problem-solving skills as they investigated the world of measurement. Well done, everyone! 🌟📏

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ What a fantastic start to Active Week at Trim Educate Together N.S.! 🎉💪
Our amazing 6th Class pupils put their leadership skills into action by designing and creating a fun obstacle course for the whole school! 🌟
They then facilitated each session, carefully adapting and differentiating the challenges to suit the different age groups and abilities across all classes. 👏🤸‍♀️🏅
It was wonderful to see teamwork, encouragement, determination, and lots of smiling faces throughout the day! 😊💚
A huge well done to our 6th Class for their creativity, organisation, and enthusiasm. You were excellent role models for our younger pupils! 🌈⭐
