Creative Places Tuam is excited to begin a new chapter under local leadership with funding from The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon!

From 2027, the programme will become fully locally based, delivered in partnership with Galway County Arts Office, continuing the foundations built over five years through the Arts Council's Creative Places initiative and the work of Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts.

Creative Places Tuam is a community-led arts programme rooted in the people, stories and spirit of Tuam and its surrounding areas. Together with artists, communities and local partners, we support creative projects, nurture new ideas and celebrate the cultural life of the place we call home.

Residents, artists, community groups and organisations are invited to take part in the next phase of the programme. More info coming soon!
