Chair Yoga next Wednesday 24th June is cancelled. We’re rescheduling for the following week on Wednesday 1st July at 2.15pm. Those who are booked, have been reassigned tickets.

Instead on Wednesday 24th June at 2pm, we are showing a 1989 classic film. 'If you build it, they will come'

Did you know, if you're a library member you can register for My Open Library?

My Open Library allows members to access Walkinstown Library from 8am - 10pm, 7 days a week.

We're one of four Dublin City Libraries offering this service, including Drumcondra Library, Raheny Library and Pembroke Library.

Join Summer Stars! For every 2 books young people read, they get a reward!

Read 8 books by the end of August, and they attend The Summer Stars Party where everyone gets a medal, certificate and entered into a draw for prizes!

Summer Stars has taken off in Walkinstown Library. It’s a brilliant way to keep young people reading over the summer! Whether they’re discovering new favourites or revisiting old ones.

Signing up is simple.

Just drop into the library and we’ll get you set up with a reading card to track your books. It’s all completely free and open to all ages.

There are prizes available and we'll hold a big party at the end of the Summer to celebrate with everyone who enters the draw.

So, pop in, say hello, and let's get reading!

Reminder that our Sensory Toy Hour is not running today to facilitate study for our Leaving and Junior Cert students. Sensory Toy Hour will resume on the 16th. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to the events space being used by our students for study, our regularly scheduled Sensory Toy Hour is not running today or next week. (Apologies for the late notice!)
