We are delighted to announce that four fantastic events have been funded by the National Built Heritage Service and their Historic Gardens and Designed Landcscapes Event Fund for 2026!

After two sold out events in 2025- a “Teddy Bears’ Picnic and Treasure Hunt” in Larchill Arcadian Gardens in Meath and a “Landscape Painting Workshop” in Salthill House in Donegal- we are looking forward to hosting events in returning and new member houses across this year.

Full Event Programme:

Saturday, June 20th: “Growing Old Roses to Flourish in a Historical or Contemporary Garden”, Lecture and Demonstration, Salthill House, Donegal

Sunday, July 12th: 19th Century Wedding Customs Lecture, Dromana House, Waterford

Sunday July 26th: “Teddy Bear’ Treasure Hunt”, Family Event, Larchill Arcadian Gardens, Meath

Saturday, September 19th: “Dúlra agus Tirdhreach”, Irish Language Nature Walk, Ballykilcavan House, Laois

Thank you to the National Built Heritage Service for supporting the work of our members to open to the public and share their built landscapes and historic gardens with the community.

Tickets will be on sale soon. Watch this space!
