Current situation on Airmast is we are reviewing the prices on components for the masts.
A number of items that we need to bring in from the UK have gone into silly mode with Duty Vat etc. here are some comparisons on prices

head bearing was €59 now €75
Pulleys foe cable €35 now €84
wire rope stainless €38 now €66
winch sealey €60 now €105.25
these prices are for us just to buy and have dropped on the benches so €192 now becomes €330.31 sadly the exchange /customs/and then VAT is a killer.
we are going to do a full review f prices as we also have had four increases in the galvanizing cost and no doubt steel increase too.

Sorry lads for lack of posts all mast stopped until 2025 back issues still on going but new year will be busy with six booked in for the new year.

Another rotator in for rebuild a Yaesu 450 a lot of corrosion in this fella ring was soaked for about 3 weeks just to release the bearings ..so a good few hours scrubbing and cleaning the groves ready to take it's new stainless bearings and packed with plenty of grease as you can see on the ring once bolted ..

Nice to get back to this mast ..cable is to be replaced but wrong lenght was sent so new one arrived now fitted and we can get final bits sorted on it's service.

Another one in today Bearing on the ring are stuck to it so a bit of soaking and see how we get on..
