🚹 Men’s Health Week 2026 Club Funding Opportunity 🚹

As part of Men’s Health Week 2026, Waterford Sports Partnership is inviting sports clubs and organisations across Waterford to apply for funding to help increase male participation in sport and physical activity.

✅ 5 clubs/organisations will receive €500 each
✅ Deliver a 4-week participation programme
✅ Programmes must begin during Men’s Health Week (15th–21st June 2026)
✅ Focus on welcoming new participants and creating long-term pathways into activity

We’re especially encouraging clubs with creative ideas to recruit and retain men and boys in sport and physical activity.

🔔 The Supporting Refugees in Ireland initiative is now open for applications for 2026. The programme helps those looking to join Pfizer Grange Castle through 3-day immersive mentoring and upskilling workshops.

During the initial 3-day programme, you will gain invaluable insights, skills and knowledge and use high tech equipment to uncover the multitude of projects that are currently being developed across the Pfizer Group that are supporting some of the biggest selling biopharmaceutical products in the global marketplace. After the 3-day programme concludes, there may be opportunities for participants to apply for an internship role depending on suitability.

The successful candidate should:
✅Have an honours degree (or equivalent / higher) in Science or Engineering
✅Be available for a period of 3-days in early July to attend the programme.
