We had the pleasure of welcoming the fabulous ARC Truck to our school this week!

Our 5th and 6th class pupils visited the remote classroom to learn all about marine life and aquaculture. It was a fantastic hands on experience and a wonderful opportunity to explore the importance of our oceans and sustainable seafood production.

A huge thank you to the ARC team for such an engaging and informative visit.

Mayo Grass Cycling Championships 4 venues May 12th to 15th.

National schools Cycling Event – Let’s Get Them Biking: Simple, fun, and all about getting kids on the start line.

• Junior (3rd & 4th): 3 laps of 150m grass track
• Senior (5th & 6th): 4 laps of 150m grass track

Schools enter up to 6 boys & 6 girls per category.

Ride whatever bike they have – just bring a helmet and loads of spirit.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd (boys & girls)…

The big one: The School Trophy – awarded to the school with the most riders in the final. There will be games, bike skills, road safety, and loads more to be learned.

Cycling is a life activity, it's environmentally friendly and it’s a child's first form of transport. The races are for learning with the kids, parents and teachers all winning, so show up for your school.

We were delighted to be invited to such a wonderful event today. A huge well done to everyone involved in organising it, and a sincere thank you to all the volunteers who made it possible.
