EPIC Stories: Ciara’s Story

Ciara has been working with EPIC for around two years, and in her own words, it has given her much more than just a job.

When she first started, she was in early recovery and lacked confidence in herself and her future. Through EPIC, she developed practical workplace skills, but also found routine, support and hope.

Ciara now says she genuinely looks forward to coming in every day, and one of the things she values most is being able to offer the same support to new people that she received when she first started.

Working at EPIC has changed how she sees herself and her future. She now feels more confident, optimistic and ready to move on to another job, knowing that she has something to offer.

For Ciara, EPIC is about opportunities, support and finding out who you can become when people believe in you.
