🎃 Back to school is now officially here… which means we all need something frightfully fun to look forward to!

Our team are already busy preparing for Halloween at Wells House & Gardens, running from Saturday, 17th October to Friday, 30th October.

This year, expect plenty of fun games and activities, ghoulish characters and our Wells Witches ready to entertain, before climbing aboard the Wells Express for a spooky train ride!

Then visit our Pumpkin Patch, where children can choose their own pumpkin to bring home in time for Halloween.

One-night stays are also available to book in our luxurious self-catering cottages, giving you the perfect opportunity to add some extra midterm fun to your Halloween adventure at Wells.

Please note: The Halloween experience is an optional add-on to your gate entry.

🎬 And just like that… our Summer 2026 events at Wells House and Gardens have come to an end! ☀️

Tonight, we welcomed visitors for our final Pop-Up Cinema of the summer, with a screening of Mamma Mia! 🎶💃 And despite the very wet start to the day, the skies stayed dry for the evening, giving us the perfect ending to what has been such a fantastic summer at Wells.

A huge word of thanks to everyone who visited us this year, both our wonderful returning visitors and those discovering Wells for the very first time. Your support, enthusiasm and kind words mean so much to us. 💚

A special thank you goes to our self-catering guests. This year marked the first full season with our newly refurbished cottages available throughout the estate, and the feedback we have received has been incredibly rewarding and very much appreciated.

And, of course, we couldn't finish without saying a massive THANK YOU to our team — our summer staff and our permanent team. Your hard work, dedication, energy and commitment have helped make Summer 2026 such a memorable one. We couldn't do it without you! 👏💚

By popular demand, our September Open Afternoon Tea is back and the perfect way to spend an autumn afternoon!

Join us at Wells House and Gardens on Sunday, 6th September, and enjoy the first signs of autumn with a leisurely walk through the beautiful estate before settling in for an elegant Afternoon Tea.

Summer may be drawing to a close, but things are already getting frightfully busy at Wells House & Gardens as our team prepares for Halloween 2026!

This year, we’re bringing back Tricks, Treats, Train Rides & Pumpkin Patch Fun across the weekends leading up to Halloween and throughout the midterm break and we’re looking for people to join our Halloween team.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, outgoing Event Staff who aren’t afraid to get into character, meet and greet our visitors, have a bit of fun and perhaps deliver the odd unexpected scare!

You’ll be part of the team helping to create a memorable Halloween experience for families visiting Wells House & Gardens.
