We are happy to introduce one evening event that is happening for you after hours. Our first of many we hope, all depends on yourselves. We will start with a talk from Anne Molloy, local natural product business owner of Lavender Lodge. Anne will talk on the reasons why we all should look more to nature for our health and beauty products. From Shampoos to body scrubs, she will talk of what remedy is good for what ailment. Come and enjoy a free product and a free cuppa on the house at Aroma Tearooms.

For next Saturday, we are inviting all artists beginners and more advanced to come and join our present artist, Rosemary O’Neill, as she demonstrates her way of painting with watercolours. Bring your own paint and paper and join in yourself. Ask questions or be guided or simply enjoy being there with other artists alike.
If you are a complete beginner, Rosemary will provide some equipment for you to join in too…

A fantastic exhibition is up at the moment at the Aroma Tearooms. "Whispers of the Wild" is a collective of paintings made by artist Rosemary O'Neill. Another local artist with great talent here at Dunbrody Abbey Vistor Centre where arts and crafts are at the heart of the community. Come show your appreciation and visit the cafe where Rosemary's art is hung for all to see. Enjoy some lunch and a warm drink while admiring the colours of these beautiful art pieces.

Rosemary will be conducting a demonstration later on during her exhibition time...save the date for this one; 13th June. More information to follow. 🎨☕️

Many have come during the week asking us why the cafe is not open. Unfortunately, there is not enough people for sales to be worth opening a cafe in the middle of no where. It seems that many people forget or don't know that the cafe is now open only for 4 days during June. July and August it will be back to every day just like the rest of the visitor centre.

If you want the cafe back to opening 7 days a week, say yes in the comment and we shall see what we can do.

For now opening times of the cafe are Friday - Monday (both days included) from 11 - 4pm

Aimee is the crafter that has worked on these items and you can find these items and more similar to these at our gift shop. This Saturday we invite you to meet the maker and join her while she gives any tips and tricks to anyone who wants to bring their own work. For those that are beginners Aimee can start you off with a pattern or two and help you achieve your next milestone in crocheting.

Aimee will be around from 11.30 - 1.30 Saturday 6th June 2026.
