🎨🐻 Friday Fun! 🐻🎨

Today, the children enjoyed a colour sorting tuff tray. They searched for different coloured bears and carefully balanced them on masking tape stretched across the tuff tray. This fun activity encouraged colour recognition, concentration, problem-solving, and fine motor skills as the children worked to keep their bears balanced up high. What a great way to finish the week! 🌈✨

Today we had our annual Pyjama Day in aid of Wicklow Hospice. Everyone dressed up in their finest pjs and slippers for a great cause. Thank you to everyone who donated 🥰🥳🫧

Today all the children created summer flowers for their craft activity. They had lots of fun practicing their gluing and sticking skills.

Today we had an insect tuff tray 🦟🐝 The insects had somehow found themselves frozen in giant ice cubes so the children had to find a way to free them before they got too cold 🥶

This is a fun, interactive STEM workshop led by Dr. Viktoriia, where children explore the life cycle of a butterfly in a simple, hands-on way. Through storytelling, discussion, and creative activities, they learn how a butterfly develops from egg to caterpillar, chrysalis, and adult butterfly.

The workshop includes:
● A short, engaging introduction to butterflies and their life cycle
● A step-by-step exploration of the 4 stages
● A hands-on craft where children create their own butterfly life cycle model
● A second creative activity, making a butterfly using recycled materials (toilet paper rolls), helps to encourage creativity and sustainability

● Duration: 60 minutes
● All materials provided
This session combines science learning with creativity, making it an enjoyable and memorable STEM experience for young children.
