MASHAV Carmel Training Center Entrepreneurship and Innovation | Community Development | Early Childhood Education | Gender Equality Who are we? What do we do? How do we do it?

The Golda Meir Mashav Carmel International Training Center (MCTC) is one of Mashav’s three professional training centers. Mashav is Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation. Our mission is to promote gender equality throughout the world through socioeconomic development. We focus on three areas of study: 1) Entrepreneurship and Innovation, 2) Sustainable Community Development, and

3) Early Childhood Education. Our activities include long-term projects, seminars, courses, and mentorship programs for professional women and men from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Oceania and the Middle East. Who do we work with? We cooperate with local and international organizations such as UN Women, ILO, UNECE, UN Habitat, UNIDO, UNDP and more. Interested to know more? This International Women's Day, we are reminded that even in the most difficult times, the human spirit can make a difference. The way we deal with challenges remain our choice. This week, we are proud to share the voices of women who choose to make a difference in their communities in various pressing issues around the world. Women who took part in MCTC's professional training courses. Each day, we will feature a participant from a different program, sharing her insights and experience.

🎓 Strengthening International Partnerships in Education 🌍
Last Thursday marked the successful conclusion of two transformative training courses at the Golda Meir MASHAV Carmel International Training Center (MCTC):
✨ Innovative Approaches to Special Education - Kazakhstan Delegation (February 1-13, 2026)
This intensive course brought together professionals from Kazakhstan's Ministry of Education to explore Israel's progressive approaches to special education, early intervention strategies, and inclusive education frameworks.
✨ Education for Climate Resilience and Environmental Sustainability - Kosovo Delegation (February 1-13, 2026)
Educators and policymakers from Kosovo's Ministry of Education and Ministry of Environment participated in this program focused on integrating climate literacy and environmental sustainability into school curricula.
🤝 Our Partners: These programs were made possible through collaboration with:
• Israel’s Ministry of Regional Cooperation
• Israel’s Ministry of Education
• Israel’s Ministry of Environmental Protection
