אוריינות היא הרבה יותר מקריאה!

האוריינות לא מסתיימת כשאנחנו לומדים לקרוא.
היא מתפתחת בכל פעם שאנחנו שואלים שאלה, בוחנים מקור מידע, מגלים ידע חדש ומשתפים את מה שלמדנו.

ביום האוריינות הבינלאומי אנחנו חוגגים את כוחה של האוריינות לפתוח דלתות להשכלה, למחקר, להזדמנויות וללמידה לאורך כל החיים.

הספרייה היא הלב הפועם של הקמפוס! אנחנו תמיד נהנים לראות את הסטודנטים שלנו צועדים ברחבי הרצליה עם תיקי הבד שמייצגים את ספריית מרק ריץ’. אנחנו גאים להיות הספרייה הראשית של הקמפוס, לחבר בין כל הפקולטות השונות באוניברסיטה, ולהוות מרכז ללמידה, עשייה, ושיתופי פעולה מרתקים.

The library is the heart of the campus! We always enjoy seeing students around Hertzliya, with our tote bags representing the marc rich library. We are very proud to be the main library on campus, bringing together all faculties at the university, and allow space for learning and collaborating with others.

השיפוץ מתקדם, ואנחנו כבר מחכים לארח אתכם מחדש!

רצינו להזכיר שהספרייה סגורה עד 08.08, והדלפק שלנו יעבור באופן זמני לחדר S5.

להשאלת מחשבים למבחני ETEST, יש לגשת למחשוב, בבניין רזדינר למנהלהת ולהציג אישור ממדור בחינות.

במהלך תקופה זו נמשכות עבודות השיפוץ כמתוכנן, במטרה להעניק לכם חוויית לימוד טובה ונעימה יותר, עם יותר מקומות ישיבה וסביבת למידה משודרגת.

אנחנו מודים לכם על הסבלנות וההבנה, ומצפים לקבל את פניכם בקרוב בספרייה המחודשת!

The renovation is progressing, and we can't wait to welcome you back!

Just a reminder that the library will remain closed until August 8. During this time, our front desk will be temporarily relocated to Room S5.

If you need to borrow a laptop for an ETEST exam, please visit the IT Department in the Razdiner Administration Building and present your approval from the Examinations Office.

The renovation is continuing as planned to provide you with a better study experience, including more seating and a more comfortable, upgraded learning environment.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back to the newly renovated library soon!

השבוע, בפינת עדכוני ה AI רצינו לקדם את הפיצ’ר הנהדר של מאגר EBSCO, שחוסך לנו המון זמן יקר בתהליכי החיפוש והמחקר.

לאחר חיפוש מקורות במאגר, ניתן להקליק על אופציית AI insights, ולקבל תקציר AI בנוגע לנושא המאמר. במקום להכנס לכל מאמר ולבדוק אם הוא רלוונטי ע”י קריאה, ניתן לנסות להבין זאת מהתקציר שקיבלנו.

This week, we wanted to introduce the AI feature of EBSCO’s database, which could potentially save you a lot of time in your research process.

After searching the EBSCO database, you can click on “AI insights” to view a summary of the article.

Instead of downloading and reading each article, we can check the summary and quickly get an idea of the key takeaways to see if it can be used in our research.
