🌱 Continuing agricultural cooperation in Albania

Right now, MASHAV experts Giora Tesler and Yuval Elazar are conducting an agricultural course at the MASHAV Center of Excellence in Cërrik, Albania.

Bringing together 20 participants from local Ministry of Agriculture delegations and the agricultural school where the Center operates, the course is another step in the growing agricultural cooperation between Israel and Albania.

The Center provides a platform for training, knowledge sharing, and demonstrating Israeli agricultural technologies adapted to local conditions. 🇦🇱🇮🇱

Israel is supporting the Democratic Republic of the Congo in its response to the Ebola outbreak.

Together with the Ministry of Health, MASHAV delivered medical equipment and supplies to strengthen the national response and healthcare teams on the ground.

Strengthening emergency preparedness through cooperation 🇮🇱🇧🇴

A Mass Casualty Preparedness workshop has concluded in La Paz, bringing together emergency services organizations from across Bolivia for professional exchange and capacity building.

Led by MASHAV and Magen David Adom , the workshop provided an opportunity to share expertise, strengthen preparedness and build new partnerships among Bolivia’s emergency services.

🇮🇱🇨🇴 Israel stands with Colombia.

Following the devastating earthquake in Colombia, a joint Israeli rescue and humanitarian delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the IDF Home Front Command arrived in the country last week to support local emergency efforts.

Around 80 Israeli rescue and medical personnel are currently operating on the ground.

Yesterday, an additional five-ton shipment departed from Israel, including medical equipment to support emergency medical response.

As part of Israel’s humanitarian response, MASHAV is contributing to the ongoing effort to support Colombia and its people during this difficult time.

Strengthening Israel–Mongolia cooperation 🇮🇱🤝🇲🇳

During her visit to Mongolia, Head of MASHAV Ambassador Einat Shlein held a series of meetings with senior government officials, local leaders and a MASHAV alumna, exploring opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between Israel and Mongolia.

The discussions covered a wide range of areas, including innovation and entrepreneurship, smart cities and urban agriculture, health and medical training, child and family protection, agriculture and desertification, water and climate challenges, and sustainable education.

The meetings also explored opportunities for capacity building, advanced studies and professional training in Israel, as well as joint projects drawing on MASHAV’s courses and expertise.

From supporting innovation and the next generation to addressing shared challenges in climate, water, health and sustainable development, the visit highlighted the strong potential for continued Israel–Mongolia cooperation.

Yesterday, we marked World Humanitarian Day 2026 alongside partners and participants from around the world! 🌍💙

Opened by Amb. Irit Savion Waidergorn, Deputy Head of MASHAV, the webinar brought together key NGO partners, including IsraAID , NATAN Worldwide Disaster Relief, and JDC, to share Israel's unique experience from years of global development and international cooperation.

Together, the panel shared hard-won lessons from the field, proof that global cooperation saves lives.
