هذا الأسبوع نسلّط الضوء على جون آدامز، وهو محامٍ ودبلوماسي وثاني رئيس للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. قبل أن تحظى فكرة الاستقلال بشعبية واسعة، كان آدامز من أوائل الذين تحدثوا علنًا ضد الحكم البريطاني ودافعوا عن حقوق المستعمرات الأمريكية. وقد لعب دورًا مهمًا في الدفع نحو إصدار إعلان الاستقلال، وساعد في تأمين الدعم الدولي للأمة الجديدة خلال الحرب الثورية الأمريكية.

This week, we spotlight John Adams, a lawyer, diplomat, and America's second President. Before independence became popular, Adams was already speaking out against British rule and championing the rights of the American colonies. He played a key role in advancing the Declaration of Independence and helped secure international support for the new nation during the Revolutionary War.
Known for his commitment to the rule of law, Adams believed that principles should come before popularity. As President, he guided the young republic through international tensions and helped establish the tradition of the peaceful transfer of power.
