עוד שבוע משמעותי הגיע לסיומו בשותפות נשר-בראוורד, שבוע של סיכומים, הוקרה, למידה והסתכלות קדימה אל שנת הפעילות הבאה.

במפגש ועדת ההיגוי סיכמנו את שנת הפעילות 2025-2026 דרך תמונות, רגעים וזיכרונות שהמחישו את העשייה הענפה, החיבורים המרגשים וההשפעה של השותפות על הקהילות שלנו. לאחר מכן עברנו על פרויקטי שנת הפעילות 2026-2027, כדי לוודא שכל אחד ואחת מחברי הוועדה ממשיכים ללוות ולהוביל פרויקט משמעותי במסגרת השותפות.

המפגש היה גם הזדמנות לעצור ולהוקיר תודה לשתי חברות ועדה יקרות, שסיימו את כהונתן לאחר שנים רבות של מסירות, מחויבות ועשייה יוצאת דופן: רחל רזניק ואיריס טימור, לאורך השנים הובלתן מגוון יוזמות ותחומי פעילות, תרמתן מניסיונכן, מזמנכן ומליבכן, והייתן חלק משמעותי מהצלחת השותפות. תודה רבה על כל מה שנתתן לקהילה ולשותפות. 💙

את המפגש סיימנו בהרצאה מרתקת של דניאל שטיין מארגון StandWithUs, שעסקה בתדמיתה של ישראל בעולם ובאתגרים וההזדמנויות העומדים בפנינו בזירה הבינלאומית. ההרצאה עוררה עניין רב, חשיבה ושיח משמעותי בקרב המשתתפים.

תודה לכל חברי ועדת ההיגוי, למתנדבים ולשותפים לעשייה. אנחנו יוצאים לדרך עם שנת פעילות חדשה, מלאת יוזמות, חיבורים והזדמנויות להמשיך ולחזק את הקשר המיוחד בין נשר לבראוורד.

A meaningful week has come to an end at the Nesher-Broward Partnership, filled with reflection, appreciation, learning, and preparations for the year ahead.

During our Steering Committee meeting, we looked back on the 2025-2026 program year through photos and memories that highlighted the many connections, initiatives, and achievements that made this year so special. We also reviewed the projects planned for the 2026-2027 program year, ensuring that each volunteer continues to mentor and lead a meaningful project within the Partnership.

This meeting was also an opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to two remarkable Steering Committee members, Rachel Reznik and Iris Timor, who concluded their terms after many years of dedicated service and leadership. Through their commitment, passion, and countless contributions across a variety of Partnership initiatives, they have left a lasting impact on our community and our Partnership. Thank you both for everything you have given over the years. 💙

We concluded the meeting with a fascinating presentation by Daniel Stein from StandWithUs, who shared insights on Israel's image around the world and discussed the challenges and opportunities facing Israel in the international arena. The lecture sparked thoughtful discussions and provided valuable perspectives for all participants.

Thank you to our Steering Committee members, volunteers, and partners for your continued dedication and commitment. We look forward to another year of meaningful connections, impactful projects, and a strong partnership between Nesher and Broward.

חיבורים ושותפות אמיתית! 🤝✨
השבוע זכינו לביקור מרגש של ולריה ויוסי מיכאני מפלורידה! ✈️ ולריה היא מנהלת בית הספר של טמפל קול עמי עמנואל בבראוורד קאונטי. במפגש ולריה נפגשה עם ליאת אדרי, המורה לאנגלית מבית ספר "רבין" בנשר ומובילת הפרויקט בו, שעובדת מולה כבר שנים ועם המתנדבות המדהימות מנשר, יעל בר און וצביה גילדור, שהן חלק מצוות משימת התאומות ועם מורן זלצברג, מנהלת השותפות❤️

נפגשנו באווירה משפחתית וחמה 🥰, שמענו על הזמן שלהם בארץ ודנו בתכניות לשנת התאומות הבאה! 📈

Connections & True Partnership! 🤝✨
This week, we had the joy of hosting Valeria and Yossi Michanie from Broward County, Florida! ✈️ Valeria is the Director of the Religius school at Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El in Broward County. Valeria met with Liat Edri, the English teacher at Rabin School in Nesher and the head of the project at the school, who she has worked with for years, alongside our wonderful Nesher volunteers, Yael Bar-On and Tzvia Gildor, from the twinning task force and P2G Director Moran Zalcberg ❤️

We gathered in a warm, family atmosphere 🥰, heard about their time in Israel, and discussed our exciting plans for the upcoming school twinning year! 📈

מסכמים שבוע של זהות, חיבורים ומבט רענן על השותפות שלנו! 🌟

השבוע בשותפות נשר-בראוורד קאונטי עמד בסימן למידה, עומק והמון חיוכים. הנה שני האירועים המרכזיים שהפכו את השבוע הזה לכל כך משמעותי:

👭 מביאות את נשר לבראוורד – יום אוריינטציה מיוחד:
קיימנו יום אוריינטציה מרתק שמטרתו לחבר ולהכיר את פעילות השותפות, את העיר נשר ואת הארגונים המדהימים שעובדים איתנו בשיתוף פעולה לשלוש בנות נוער נפלאות שיוצאות לשנת שירות (ש"ש) בתפוצות מטעם הסוכנות היהודית: ליה, תמר ועמית! אנחנו מאחלים להן המון בהצלחה בשליחות המשמעותית הזו!

🎤צוחקים ומבינים! השבוע קיימנו את המפגש השלישי בסדרת המפגשיםהווירטואליים שלנו והפעם צללנו לנושא הכי קרוב ללב: משמעותו של ההומור בזהות שלנו ותפקידו בחיינו. יחד, חקרנו את המאפיינים הייחודיים של ההומור היהודי, הישראלי והאמריקאי, ואיך הוא משתקף בתרבות שלנו לאורך השנים. גילינו שגם כשיש אוקיינוס שמפריד בינינו, הצחוק הוא השפה המשותפת הכי חזקה שיש.

Wrapping up a week of identity, connections, and a fresh look at our Partnership! 🌟
This week at the Nesher-Broward County Partnership was all about learning, depth, and lots of smiles. Here are the two main events that made this week so meaningful:

👭 Bringing Nesher to Broward – A Special Orientation Day:
We held a fascinating orientation day designed to introduce and deeply connect to the Partnership’s activities, the city of Nesher, and the wonderful organizations we collaborate with. All of this was for three amazing teens setting off for a voluntary community service year as a Young Emissary (Shinshin) in the Diaspora with The Jewish Agency: Liya, Tamar, and Amit! We wish them the best of luck on this deeply meaningful mission!

🎤 Laughing & Learning: This week we held the third meeting in our Virtual Encounters series, and this time we dove into a topic close to our hearts: the meaning of humor in our identity and its role in our lives. Together, we explored the unique characteristics of Jewish, Israeli, and American humor, and how it has reflected our culture throughout the years. We discovered that even with an ocean between us, laughter remains our strongest shared language.

איזה שבוע מרגש עבר עלינו! זכינו לקחת חלק בטקס חלוקת התיקים המרגש למתגייסים ולמתגייסות של נשר, שארגנו עיריית נשר וצוות בית הספר✨
הטקס, שנערך לכבוד מסיימי שכבת י"ב הממשיכים לצבא, למכינות ולשנות השירות, היה גדוש ברגש והוקרה:
*ראש העיר הודה בחום לשותפים שלנו מבראוורד קאונטי על התמיכה הבלתי מסויגת.
*אילנה שרון, יו"ר השותפות, בירכה את הבוגרים הטריים, והודתה לעירייה על שיתוף הפעולה ארוך השנים ולחברים מבראוורד, שהצטרפו בזום, על תרומתם המרגשת.
*תודה מיוחדת למחלקת הנוער בעירייה ולצוות בית הספר על האירוח והעשייה למען הנוער.
אנחנו גאים בכולם ומאחלים בהצלחה רבה לליה סול, שיוצאת לבראוורד קאונטי, ולאנה זבודצ'יקוב, שיוצאת לטורונטו קנדה, המדהימות, שיהיו שנה הבאה בשנת השירות של הסוכנות היהודית בקהילות בתפוצות כשליחות צעירות! 🌍✈️

🦅 Weekly Summary: Nesher-Broward County Partnership 🦅
What an emotional week! We were honored to take part in the backpack distribution ceremony for Nesher's Youth, organized by the Municipality of Nesher and the school's staff. ✨
The ceremony, held for the graduating 12th graders heading to the IDF, pre-army academies, and gap years, was filled with gratitude:
*The Mayor- warmly thanked our Broward County partners for their unwavering support.
*Ilana Sharon, Chair of the Partnership, congratulated the graduates and thanked the Municipality for years of cooperation, as well as our Broward friends, who joined via Zoom, for their touching contribution.
*Special thanks to the Municipal Youth Department and the school staff for hosting and investing in our youth.
Best of luck to the amazing Liya Sol, who will be in Broward County, and Lana Zavodchikov, who will be in Toronto Canada, both are heading out for their Jewish Agency Service Year abroad as Young Emissaries! 🌍✈️

🌟מסכמים שבוע עמוס בעשייה, חיבורים וחיוכים בשותפות נשר-בראוורד!** 🌟

📜 סוגרים שנה מטורפת של מנהיגות וקשר!

השבוע ציינו בהתרגשות את מפגש הסיום החגיגי של שנה ב' בתכנית הנוער לבוגרי המשלחת בביקור במוזיאון א- גרוייסע מציאה שבה נכנסנו למסע בזמן להיסטוריה של ישראל וערכיה דרך חפצים שסיפרו את סיפורה של הקמת המדינה והתפתחותה. זה היה סיום מרתק לשנה עוצמתית במיוחד, שבה נפגשנו לחמישה מפגשים מרתקים, מעמיקים ומעוררי השראה.

במהלך השנה חקרנו יחד ונגענו בנושאים המרכיבים את הזהות שלנו כמנהיגים צעירים:

* מנהיגות, התנדבות ומעורבות קהילתית – כי שינוי אמיתי מתחיל מהשטח.
* ציונות – החיבור הבלתי מנותק לסיפור המשותף של כולנו.
* הקהילות היהודיות בתפוצות – הבנת העמיות היהודית והקשר הגלובלי.
* העמקת הקשר עם בראוורד קאונטי – חיזוק הגשר החי והחיוני כל כך עם השותפים שלנו מעבר לים.

במהלך המפגשים, הבוגרים שלנו לא רק למדו, אלא גם נפגשו, החליפו חוויות ויצרו קשרים אישיים חזקים עם בני נוער ישראלים מתוכניות נוער ושותפויות אחרות בארץ.

תודה ענקית לכל הבוגרים והבוגרות המדהימים שלנו על המחויבות והאנרגיה. אתם חוד החנית שלנו, ואנחנו בטוחים שזו רק ההתחלה של העשייה שלכם ובנוסף למחלקת נוער בעיריית נשר על שיתוף הפעולה לכל אורך התכנית! 💙

📜 ביקור חשוב! שמחנו לארח את אלמוג מוסקוביץ, מנהל עידוד עלייה ושיווק ביחידת העלייה והקליטה של הסוכנות היהודית. אלמוג ביקר בשותפות ושמע על שיתופי הפעולה והסיוע של השותפות לארגונים בעיר.

📜מ-“אוי ווי“ עד “יאללה“: מסע בין הומור יהודי-ישראלי ליהודי-אמריקאי!

השנה של שנה ב' אולי הסתיימה, אבל הפעילות בשותפות ממש לא עוצרת! אנחנו נרגשים להזמין אתכם למפגש השלישי בסדרת המפגשים הווירטואליים שלנו השנה.

📜 Celebrating an Incredible Year of Leadership and Connection!

This week, we excitedly celebrated the closing meeting of Year 2 of our Teen Program for Delegation Alumni. It was an incredibly powerful year, featuring five fascinating, deep, and inspiring sessions.

Throughout the year, our teens explored core topics that shape their identity as young leaders:

* Leadership, Volunteering, and Community Involvement** – because real change starts on the ground.
* Zionisim – our unbreakable connection to our shared story.
* Jewish Communities in the Diaspora** – understanding peoplehood and our global bond.
* Deepening the Connection with Broward County – strengthening the living, vital bridge with our wonderful partners across the ocean.

During these sessions, our alumni didn't just learn—they also met, shared experiences, and formed meaningful friendships with Israeli teens participating in youth programs from other partnerships across Israel.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing alumni for your commitment and energy. You are our cutting edge, and we are certain this is just the beginning of your leadership journey and to the Youth Department in Nesher Municipality for the cooperation! 💙
