Today, on Yom HaShoah, 1 in 4 Holocaust survivors in Israel lives in poverty. While we honor the memory of the six million, we remain committed to those who are still with us - the remaining survivors in need. For them, the struggle isn’t just historical; it is the daily reality of needing food, safe housing, and medical care.

We provide for 1,700 survivors:

Kiryat Shmona, yesterday.

Just a few kilometers from the Lebanese border, under repeated Hezbollah fire, Latet teams and volunteers, alongside our founder and president Gilles Darmon, mobilized to support the most vulnerable families.

Distributing survival kits, conducting home visits, and maintaining a human presence in a deeply disrupted daily reality, while operating under direct risk.

During the operation, following a nearby impact, team members immediately rushed to the scene and were among the first to provide first aid to a severely injured bus driver.

Because in times of war, the emergency is also social. 🚑

Fonds d’urgence FSJU x

En Israël, des millions d’Israéliens vivent aujourd’hui au rythme des sirènes et des abris.

Face aux nouvelles attaques iraniennes, le FSJU a immédiatement débloqué 150 000 euros d’aide d’urgence afin de renforcer l’action sur le terrain de son partenaire israélien Latet, grande organisation humanitaire engagée dans la lutte contre la précarité en Israël.

Grâce à ce soutien, les équipes de Latet intensifient leurs actions auprès des populations les plus fragilisées : préparation et distribution de colis alimentaires d’urgence, soutien aux familles en difficulté et accompagnement des communautés particulièrement touchées par la situation, avec une logistique déployée dans les abris et coordonnée sur l’ensemble du territoire avec les autorités civiles.
