Little Star High School, Adilabad Shines at the District Athletics Championship 2026 🏅🏃‍♀️

Little Star High School is proud to announce the outstanding participation and achievements of its students in the 12th Adilabad District Sub-Junior & 4th Adilabad Middle & Long Distance Athletics Championship – 2026.

A total of 29 students from Grades 4 to 10 represented the school in various athletic events, displaying remarkable determination, discipline, and sportsmanship. Their enthusiastic participation reflects the school's commitment to promoting physical fitness and excellence in sports.

Adding to the glory of the institution, eight students secured medals and brought laurels to the school. The medal winners are:

Leadership begins with responsibility, commitment, and service. Little Star High School, Adilabad proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony 2026–27, celebrating the appointment of the newly elected Student Cabinet.
The ceremony was graced by our esteemed Chief Guests, Mukhi Saheb and Kamadiya Saheb, whose inspiring presence made the occasion truly memorable. Adding grandeur to the event, the School Colour Party extended a ceremonial welcome, reflecting the school's rich traditions and spirit of unity.
The newly elected student leaders proudly marched onto the stage to receive their badges and sashes from the Chief Guests, symbolizing the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them. This was followed by the Oath-Taking Ceremony, where the cabinet members pledged to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, leadership, and service with dedication.
Chief Guest and Principal congratulated the young leaders and encouraged them to lead with humility, confidence, and a strong sense of responsibility. They also motivated the student leaders to become role models who inspire their peers through their actions and commitment.
The Investiture Ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter of student leadership, empowering young minds to lead with purpose and make meaningful contributions to the school community.

Little Star High School, Adilabad one of the network schools of the Aga Khan Education Service, India, proudly conducted its Students’ Cabinet Elections, continuing a rich tradition of over 20 years.
Held on the lines of General Elections, the process gave students hands-on exposure to democracy through nomination, campaigning, polling, counting, and result declaration. Around 600 students participated as voters, with 46 contestants contesting for leadership positions. The event was a grand success and was also covered by print and electronic media.
This initiative aimed to build awareness about democracy, voting rights, and civic responsibilities, while nurturing leadership, accountability, and decision-making skills among students.

Little Star High School, Adilabad celebrated International Yoga & Music Day with great enthusiasm in the gracious presence of the chief guests Mr. Sai Prasad Bojjalwar, Mr. U. Anil Kumar, Mr. C. Prem Kumar, and Mr. A. Dattatreya.
The event beautifully highlighted the importance of music and yoga in everyday life. Students captivated the audience with melodious song performances, filling the atmosphere with positivity and joy.
The yoga instructor shared valuable insights on the importance of yoga in daily life, explaining how regular practice improves physical fitness, concentration, flexibility, and mental well-being. The instructor also demonstrated simple and effective asanas that are highly beneficial for students.
Students enthusiastically participated in the yoga session, performed various asanas with great energy, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. 🌍 World Environment Day Celebrated at Little Star High School, Adilabad.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, teachers of Little Star High School participated in a sapling plantation drive within the school campus, reinforcing their commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable living.
Principal Mr. Kamalakar Reddy emphasized the importance of protecting trees and natural resources for future generations. He also highlighted the school's green initiatives, including the use of energy-efficient BLDC fans, rainwater harvesting, reduced paper consumption through digital assessments, and the implementation of the Refuse–Reduce–Reuse–Recycle principle to minimize plastic usage.

Little Star High School, Adilabad successfully conducted a Banking Awareness Program on 8th January for high school students, promoting financial literacy and safe banking practices.

The session was led by DCB Bank Manager Mr. G. Manoj Kumar, along with the dedicated DCB Bank team, who provided valuable insights into the world of banking.

Students learned about:
✅ ATM usage and Debit/Credit Cards
✅ Digital Banking & UPI Transactions
✅ Importance of Saving and Interest
✅ Safe Banking Habits and Cyber Security

The team also sensitized students about banking frauds and online scams, guiding them on how to protect personal and financial information.
