Tripura Bamboo Mission (TBM) is an initiative of the Government of Tripura for integrated development

The Tripura Bamboo Mission (TBM) is an Initiative of the government of Tripura to promote and develop the bamboo based industries and enable livelihood generation through bamboo based activities. TBM has a “Farm to Market” approach and aims to optimize the end-to-end value chain spanning from plantation & resource generation to marketing of value added finished products. The bamboo sector is divid

ed into various sub-sectors like incense, handicrafts, Dhari Mat, Furniture, Resource Generation, Industrial Application etc with different strategies for each sub-sector. The TBM focus is on building highly competitive clusters leading to an agglomerated economy of bamboo-based products that ranges from bamboo based handicrafts, furniture, sticks & blinds to higher valued added technology intensive industrial applications of bamboo. The mission has a special focus on promoting sustainable livelihoods for the rural poor by strengthening their own grassroots enterprises through building mainstream market linkages, providing production infrastructure & technology, supporting design & skill development, facilitating credit linkages.

🌱 Bamboo plantation activities are gaining momentum across Tripura under the Scheme.
Plantation has commenced at Simbukchak VC, Madhuban, Nowgang VC in North Tripura, and Hawaibari under Teliamura RD Block. TBM officials also conducted a field visit to inspect the cleaning and staking work at Sankhola VC under Hezamara RD Block. In addition, bamboo saplings were distributed to beneficiaries at Dakshin Tuisama, Khakchangpara, and Uttar Tuisama under Dasda RD Block, supporting sustainable bamboo cultivation across the state.

🌱 Bamboo plantation efforts continue across Tripura under the Scheme.
Bamboo seedlings were distributed at Paschim Daluchera, Ashapurna Roaja Para, Purba Satnala, Dakshin Dasda, Kangrai, Manuchailengta, and Purba Bhandarima under Dasda RD Block. Fencing nets were distributed at Sadhu Karkari. Plantation activities have also commenced at Dabichara GP under Durgachowmani Block, Simbukchak VC, Shalkham VC, and Chandipur VC under Laljuri RD Block, strengthening green livelihoods across the state.

Bamboo plantation activities are progressing across Tripura under the DAJGUA Scheme. 🌱
Bamboo Saplings were distributed to Dasda from Kanchanpur Forest Nursery. Plantation has commenced at Jure RF, Simbukchak VC, Purba Andarcherra VC (after plot cleaning and staking) in Unakoti District, Kawnpui under Jampui RD Block, Anandasagar under Dasda RD Block, North Tripura, Dhanchandra VC under Durgachowmani Block, Teliamura, Hawaibari, South Hadrai, Hadrai, Duski, Uttar Pulinpur, Ashapurna Roaja Para VC under Salema Block, and Chandipur VC under Laljuri RD Block. Fencing materials are also being distributed to project beneficiaries to support successful plantation and protection of bamboo saplings.

Bamboo plantation activities continue across Tripura under the Scheme. 🌱

Plantation was carried out at Chandra Halam Para VC under Panisagar RD Block, Danchakma Para, South Hadrai, Teliamura and Durgachowmani Block and Kawnpui under Jampui RD Block.

Bamboo saplings and fencing nets were distributed at Kashari RF under BC Nagar Block, South Tripura. Fencing nets were also distributed at Kalabaria, Laxmipur, and Pipariakhola under BC Nagar Block to support and protect newly established bamboo plantations.

Bamboo seedling distribution and plantation were carried out at Simbukchak VC and Ashapurna Roaja Para VC under Salema RD Block, Kalabari GP under BC Nagar RD Block, South Tripura District, and Kalagang VC under Jampui RD Block, North Tripura District.
These coordinated efforts are strengthening green cover and supporting sustainable livelihoods through community-based bamboo plantation..

Bamboo seedlings were distributed at East Pipariakhola VC & West Paikhola under BC Nagar Block, South Tripura District. Plantation activities commenced at Fatikcherra VC (Unakoti District), Ashapurna Roaja Para VC and Simbukchak VC under Salema RD Block, Ramucharra VC under Damcharra Block, Purba Andarcherra under Pecharthal RD Block, and Deovalley VC and Saidacherra VC in Unakoti District.
To strengthen plantation protection, fencing nets were also distributed at Ramgunapara VC under Unakoti District.
