Kashmiri girl in Delhi was complaining that no one was renting her a flat because she wore a hijab. She was asking how she was different from others. While the main point was that she was looking for a house in a Hindu-majority area/with a Hindu, why didn't she find a house with someone from her own community, so that she could feel comfortable wearing the hijab?
Well, now look at the three hijab-wearing Kashmiri girls and a pheran-wearing Kashmiri man arrested by the JKP. How do you differentiate between Kashmiris involved in terrorist activities and those who are not?
The Jammu and Kashmir Police, District Ganderbal, arrested two terrorist associates during a late evening operation near the Gunderrehman Bridge. Acting on specific intelligence, Police Station Ganderbal and the Special Operations Group (SOG) intercepted a cargo vehicle (JK15B-7309) during a naka check. The search yielded one Chinese pistol, one pistol magazine, four rounds, two hand grenades, and âš840,500 in cash.
The accused have been identified as Ghulam Nabi Mir, son of Mohammad Subhan Mir, of Hajin, Bandipora, and Shabnam Nazir, daughter of Nazir Ahmed Ganie, of Shalabugh, Ganderbal. A case has been registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Arms Act, and further investigation is underway.
