📢 Ministry of Rural Development Reviews Tripura's Preparedness for VB-G RAM G
Shri K. M. Singh, Director (RC), Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, visited Dhalai and Gomati Districts on 4th–5th July, 2026, to review the State's readiness for implementation of the Viksit Bharat–G RAM G Act.
The meetings, held with District, Block and Field-level functionaries, focused on implementation support and ground-level coordination for the scheme across both districts.
The visit also included direct interaction with local beneficiaries and field workers, reflecting the Department's commitment to ensuring the scheme's benefits reach every household across Tripura's villages.

Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) :VB – G RAM G (विकसित भारत – जी राम जी) Act, 2025 begins its nationwide journey from 1st July, 2026.

Under the new framework, every rural household whose adult members volunteer to undertake unskilled manual work shall be entitled to a statutory guarantee of 125 days of wage employment in every financial year.
