πŸ–πŸŒ± Intra-State of Producer Group (PG) Members from BPMU, R.D. Block

A successful Intra-State Exposure Visit was conducted for 102 Producer Group ( ) members from BPMU, R.D. Block to the Krishi Vigyan Kendra ( ), Dhalai District, Salema, Tripura.

The exposure visit provided PG members with valuable practical knowledge and firsthand exposure to improved livestock management practices, with a focus on enhancing their technical skills, productivity, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The programme was attended by Dr. Sanjit Tripura, Veterinary Officer, SDVH, Longtharai Valley; DM (Livestock), Dhalai, BPMU Team; TSA-ARDD; and CSPs, who supported and facilitated the exposure visit.

The initiative focused on knowledge sharing, practical learning, capacity building, and the adoption of improved scientific livestock management practices among rural Producer Group members. Such exposure visits help strengthen the capacity of PG members and encourage them to adopt improved practices for better livestock production and income generation.

πŸ–πŸŒ± Intra-State Exposure Visit for Producer Group (PG) Members under BPMU, Chawmanu R.D Block, Dhalai Tripura.

Learning Together. Growing Together. Building Sustainable Livelihoods.

An -State Visit for Producer Group ( ) Members was organised under the Tripura Rural Economic Growth & Service Delivery Project ( ) on 2 September 2026.

The exposure visit was organised by PIU-ARDD & TSA-ARDD, JK Trust for PG members from Chawmanu R.D Block, Dhalai District, with a focus on strengthening knowledge and practical understanding of scientific livestock management and piggery-based livelihood activities.

Through such exposure visits, members get an opportunity to observe successful practices, interact with fellow producers, exchange experiences, and learn practical approaches that can be adopted within their own communities.

The initiative reflects ’s continued efforts to empower rural producers, strengthen Producer Groups, promote scientific livestock practices, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities through knowledge sharing and peer learning.

🌱 One-Day Training Program on Extension Protocol – Krishi Sakhi

A one-day training program on Extension Protocol for Krishi Sakhis was organized by Killa BPMU, TRESP on 28th August 2026 at Dewanbari CLF Conference Hall, Killa.

The training focused on strengthening Krishi Sakhis as Community Extension Workers, covering their roles and responsibilities, the 6-step Extension Protocol, crop advisory, convergence with the Agriculture Department, documentation, bookkeeping and incentive/payment processes.

The program was attended by officials and resource persons from TRESP, AFC-TSA and Killa Agriculture Sub-Division, along with Krishi Sakhis under Killa BPMU.

🌾 Strengthening last-mile agricultural extension for better support to farmers and Producer Groups.
