"Samskrit is not merely a language; it is a vehicle of knowledge, philosophy, and eternal values." — Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan
Samskrit Day is celebrated every year on the full moon day in the month of Shravana to honour one of the world's most ancient and scientific languages. It reminds us of India's rich cultural heritage and the timeless wisdom preserved in Samskrit literature, philosophy, and scriptures. In a world often marked by differences, Samskrit inspires the ideal of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam"—the world is one family—promoting peace, unity, and universal harmony.
Students of Class XII-D conducted an assembly to celebrate Samskrit Day, highlighting the language's enduring relevance and its invaluable contribution to India's cultural and intellectual legacy. Through the recitation of shlokas and thought-provoking speeches, students reflected on the timeless teachings of the Upanishads and the literary brilliance of great scholars like Kalidasa. The assembly encouraged everyone to cherish and preserve this priceless heritage, reinforcing the values of wisdom, respect, unity, and national pride. It served as a reminder that by celebrating Samskrit, we keep alive the spirit of our glorious civilization for generations to come.
