citizen of India feels a natural affinity with Congress. Congress has led the country from freedom to industrialization to liberalization to globalization and is carrying the country forward on the path of being a super power. Gujarat Pradesh Congress started its first office at Khamasa in Ahmedabad under leadership of Shri Kantilal Ghiya as a first President. In 1971, it was shifted to Shahpur. Then it was shifted to Hawawala Blocks on Ashram Road, Ahmedbad. In 1977, it was shifted to Khanpur in the premises, which was till recently Ahmedabad City Congress Office. Then it was shifted to Vikram Chambers on Ashram Road. Then, the place where Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan stands at present was handed over to Congress by Late Shri Hitendrabhai Desai. Gujarat Congress was run from this premises, till the construction work started for Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan. Meanwhile it was shifted to Mirzapur earlier and then to Vasna. And on 28th December 2006 Political secretary of Hon. Congress President shri Ahmedbhai Patel hoisted the flag on new building (Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan).

आज अहमदाबाद में गुजरात प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के कार्यालय में जातिगत जनगणना के विषय में आयोजित विशेष प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित किया :
आज जो जातिगत जनगणना, कास्ट सेंसस की बात लंबे अरसे से जो कांग्रेस और राहुल गांधी जी, खड़गे साहब उठा रहे हैं।
राहुल गांधी जी नेता प्रतिपक्ष बने, तो उनको कहना पड़ा हाउस के अंदर भी कि आप करवाइए, कास्ट सेंसस आवश्यक है।
आज़ादी के लगभग 80 साल हो गए अब तो, तो इसको गंभीरता से लीजिए। यहाँ तक कहना पड़ा कि अगर आप नहीं करवाएंगे तो फिर हम करवाएंगे।
इसके उनके कहने का तात्पर्य आप समझ गए होंगे। अगर आप नहीं करवाएंगे तो हम करवाएंगे, मतलब इतना उन्होंने इस बात को एम्फेसिस दिया था।
और आखिर में मोदी जी को, उनकी सरकार को उनकी बात को स्वीकार करना पड़ा। आप सबको मालूम है कि लास्ट सेंसस जो हुआ था, वो 1931 में हुआ था।
1931 के सेंसस के बाद में कभी जातिगत सेंसस हुआ ही नहीं। लगभग 100 साल हो जाएँगे, 31 का मतलब, 26 चल रहा है, 4 साल के बाद में। तो 90-95 साल के बाद में सें�

The true reality of the BJP government’s touted development model is that farmers in Gujarat are drowning under a massive debt burden of ₹74,176 crore, placing the state 10th nationally in outstanding agricultural loans. While the Union government routinely waives loans worth crores for big industrialists, it has flatly refused to grant any loan relief to small and marginal farmers despite such staggering debt. Surging costs of seeds, fertilizers, and diesel have made cultivation unsustainable, while the lack of remunerative prices for crops continues to trap our farmers in a relentless cycle of debt.

नासिक और महाराष्ट्र के आदिवासी छात्रों की लड़ाई सिर्फ़ शिक्षा, रोज़गार, हॉस्टल और खाने की नहीं - अपने वजूद और आदिवासी अस्मिता की भी है।

इन साहसी छात्रों से मिलकर खुशी हुई, जिन्होंने महाराष्ट्र सरकार के सामने डटकर अपने हक़ की आवाज़ उठाई और जीत हासिल की।
