Was PM Modi’s tricolour pocket square really displayed “wrong”? 🇮🇳
A social media debate erupted over the arrangement of the saffron, white and green in his Independence Day outfit. But there’s an interesting detail many missed.
Under India’s Flag Code, when the National Flag is displayed vertically, it is rotated clockwise — placing saffron on the right, white in the centre, and green on the left.
The same orientation can even be seen on Indian Defence aircraft. ✈️🇮🇳
And beyond the colours, the Tiranga carries a deeper meaning — saffron for courage and sacrifice, white for peace and truth, and green for growth and prosperity.
The Tiranga isn’t just three colours. It is a symbol of the values, struggles and sacrifices that gave us a free India.
So, was the pocket square really “wrong”? Watch till the end.
