Celebrating Gujarat’s Heritage, Culture & Traditions with the World! 🇮🇳

ICCR SZO, Ahmedabad with support from the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd. (TCGL), Government of Gujarat, facilitated the participation of 100 international students from 32 countries in the “Prabhate Vadnagaram” Programme at Vadnagar on 16th August 2026.
During the visit, the students explored the rich history, culture and heritage of Vadnagar, including an enriching visit to the Archaeological Experiential Museum, offering fascinating insights into the town’s ancient civilisation and archaeological heritage.
In the evening, the students also attended “Shravanotsav” at Sharmishtha Lake, experiencing the vibrant cultural traditions, music and festive spirit of Gujarat.
It was a memorable journey of heritage, culture and people-to-people connections, bringing the world closer to India. 🇮🇳🌍

Yoga Unites the World at GIFT City, Gandhinagar

As part of the celebrations leading up to International Yoga Day 2026, a total of 72 ICCR international students from 22 countries enthusiastically participated in the Common Yoga Protocol Training organized by the Gujarat State Yoga Board at GIFT City, Gandhinagar.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students from diverse cultural backgrounds to experience India's timeless tradition of yoga, promoting physical well-being, mental harmony, and the spirit of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family."

Their active participation reflects the growing global appreciation of yoga as a bridge connecting people across nations and cultures with one message: Yoga for Health, Harmony, and Humanity.
