Mizoram Startup Mission, in collaboration with Mizoram Merchant Association (MIMA), successfully conducted the 2-Hour Soft Skills Training for Shopkeepers of Aizawl, led by resource person Mr. Samuel Ralte, Soft Skill Trainer, on 18.08.2026. The workshop provided vendors across the city with practical insights on customer engagement, vendor etiquette, interpersonal communication, as well as the essential rules for effective shopkeeping.
Big thanks to all the participants working to elevate the local commerce in Aizawl.

Assam Startup, in partnership with the Malla Reddy Foundation for Research & Innovations (MRFRI), is organising SnakeHack Guwahati as part of the £6.25 million Wellcome Snakebite Innovation Prize.

The program is open to startups, innovators, researchers, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, designers, technologists, students and other problem-solvers from diverse sectors. Participants need not be currently working in the field of snakebite. The program seeks to bring together multidisciplinary perspectives to explore innovative solutions across diagnostics, artificial intelligence, digital health, emergency response, logistics, community engagement and healthcare delivery.

A workshop introducing the North East Growth Lab (NEGL), a startup acceleration program designed to support enterprises through incubation, mentorship, and market access, was held on 10.07.2026 at Mizoram Startup Hub, P&PID to engage with startups and entrepreneurs. The event featured a live application walkthrough and ended with an open networking session for the participants.
The event was successfully conducted in collaboration with IIMA Ventures.
