Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh, called on Hon'ble of , Shri Yogi Adityanath ji at on 26 December 2022. Highlighting the importance of spreading awareness about among youth/ populace of UP, FOCINC requested Hon'ble CM for early finalisation of a based upon historic association with with Lucknow. The Museum will also serve as a symbol of recognition of people of UP in service to nation. The recently decommissioned ship INS Gomati served Indian Navy for 34 years. CM assured that early progress of project will enhance tourism potential and increase exposure to Indian Navy. Prior to interaction, FOCINC also visited various possible sites for construction of memorial alongwith officials of Tourism Dept of UP.

As part of Celebrations and , organised an Band Concert at Campus 6, , on 24 December 2022. The event was graced by Prof Ganeshi Lal, Hon'ble as Chief Guest and Shri Achyuta Samantha, Hon'ble Member of Parliament and Founding Member of KIIT & KISS as Guest of Honour. The programme was attended by several Civilian Dignitaries, Retired Military Personnel, Serving Officers of , Officers of , Cadets and students. The Indian Navy Band enthralled and mesmerised the audience with instrumental & vocal scores ranging from martial music, patriotic songs, popular and . The event concluded with recently released 'Indian Navy Anthem- Call of the Blue Waters' also known as 'Hum Taiyyar Hai' rendered by Naval Band and 'Bande Utkal Janani' by Prof Ganeshi Lal, Hon'ble Governor of Odisha which was appreciated by all.

On the occasion of , conducted a Wreath Laying ceremony at ‘Victory at Sea’ War Memorial, on 16 December 2022. Tributes were paid to valiant personnel of armed forces who made supreme sacrifice during various operations in 1971 war. Floral wreaths were placed at by Vice Admiral Sreekumar Nair, , . A 50-men Guard was paraded at the venue and a two-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to valiant souls.

As part of celebration, was organized by on 14 December 2022 in association with Government Hospital, Walajah, District. The Blood Donation Camp inaugurated by Commanding Officer, INS Rajali, witnessed whole hearted participation from service personnel, Defence Security Corps jawans and their family members. The Commanding Officer interacted with volunteers and expressed his gratitude. All donors were thoroughly screened maintaining COVID 19 protocols and were presented with certificates as token of appreciation for donating blood. 72 units of blood were handed over to Dr Sujitha, Medical Officer-in-Charge, Blood Bank, Government Hospital, Walajah.

A Precision Approach Radar was inaugurated at INS Dega, Visakhapatnam by Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, , on 07 December 2022. The new Radar facility would substantially enhance capabilities of Visakhapatnam Airport to recover civil and military aircraft in distress and emergency, particularly in inclement weather conditions. The Precision Approach Radar is designed to guide aircraft from 25km to touchdown in adverse weather conditions. The Radar provides ground interpreted approach through positional information of the aircraft to the GCA. It has azimuth and elevation antenna for lateral and vertical guidance respectively.
