Shri Devendra Singh, DRM, Alipurduar conducted On board inspection of 15483 Dn Sikkim Mahananda Exp today. During the inspection, passenger amenities, cleanliness & hygiene maintenance of Pantry car, quality of food, cleanliness of coaches, proper functioning of electrical & mechanical installations, safety items, condition of linens etc were checked & interacted with passengers. Sri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager, N.F. Railway conducted Safety inspection of Alipurduar Division today along with Senior officials of N.F.Railway. Sri Devendra Singh, DRM Alipurduar accompanied him during the whole inspection.

GM/NFR visited Alipurduar Junction station yard, Carriage and Wagon Depot and Multi Disciplinary Zonal Training School. He inaugurated the newly constructed Pit line, Bio-Toilet Laboratory, Carriage and Wagon Model cm staff training room, Automatic Block Signalling model room, IP Exchange and AI enabled Smart Learning Centre. GM/NFR also laid the Foundation Stone of Multidisciplinary Sports Complex at Alipurduar Jn.

Prior to these inspections, a window trailing inspection was carried out from New Bongaigaon to Alipurduar Junction station by GM/NFR. During the inspection, the condition of railway tracks, bridges, overhead electrical installations and other railway assets along the section were closely examined. पूर्वोत्तर सीमा रेलवे के अलीपुरद्वार मंडल के मंडल कार्यालय स्थित सभा कक्ष में राजभाषा पखवाड़ा का समापन समारोह मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री देवेन्द्र सिंह की अध्यक्षता में गरिमामय वातावरण में आयोजित किया गया। समारोह में अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री
साहेमलुंग कामई , उप मुख्य राजभाषा अधिकारी-सह-वरिष्ठ सिग्नल एवं दूरसंचार इंजीनियर श्री रत्नेश सहित मंडल के विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी तथा कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
समारोह के दौरान अधिकारियों के लिए विशेष रूप से क्विज (प्रश्नोत्तरी) प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। अधिकारियों ने प्रतियोगिता में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेते हुए अपनी भाषायी दक्षता एवं राजभाषा के व्यावहारिक ज्ञान का परिचय दिया।
राजभाषा पखवाड़े के दौरान मंडल कार्यालय सहित विभिन्न स्टेशनों पर आयोजित हिंदी निबंध, हिंदी वाक्, हिंदी क्विज, हिंदी टिप्पण एवं प्रारूप लेखन आदि विभिन्न हिंदी प्रतियोगिताओं में प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को नकद पुरस्कार एवं प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किए गए।
इस अवसर पर मंडल में कार्यालयीन कार्यों में हिंदी के प्रयोग की प्रगति तथा आगामी अवधि में राजभाषा के प्रचार-प्रसार एवं प्रभावी प्रयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किए जाने वाले प्रयासों पर विचार-विमर्श किया गया।
मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री देवेन्द्र सिंह ने अपने संबोधन में माननीय गृह मंत्री, भारत सरकार के हिंदी दिवस संदेश का वाचन किया तथा कार्यालयीन कार्यों में हिंदी के अधिकाधिक एवं प्रभावी प्रयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने पर बल दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि राजभाषा केवल एक भाषा नहीं, बल्कि कार्यालयीन कार्यों में सरल संवाद, कार्यकुशलता और जनसेवा का सशक्त माध्यम है। उन्होंने सभी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों से दैनिक कार्यों में हिंदी के प्रयोग को निरंतर बढ़ावा देने का आह्वान किया।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन राजभाषा अधिकारी श्री चंडी चरण बड़ो ने किया। कार्यक्रम के सफल संचालन में वरिष्ठ अनुवादक श्री राम नरेश कामती तथा सुश्री पुष्पा यादव ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। अंत में उप मुख्य राजभाषा अधिकारी श्री रत्नेश ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित कर कार्यक्रम का समापन किया। Ministry of Railways, Government of India Northeast Frontier Railway

Gandhi Jayanti was observed in Alipurduar Division by offering floral tributes to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhiji at DRM Office premises today. Sri S. Kamei, ADRM, all officers & staff participated on the occasion.

Shri Devendra Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Alipurduar Division, conducted a detailed inspection of Coaching Depot, Alipurduar Jn today accompanied by ADRM, Sri S.Kamei and other senior officers of the Division.

During the inspection, team inspected the maintenance activities and infrastructure of the depot, sick line, existing pit line & ongoing work of new pit line. Shri Devendra Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Alipurduar Division, conducted a detailed inspection of Gosaigaonhat Railway Station on 24.09.2026. The inspection was accompanied by senior officers of the Division.

During the station inspection, a comprehensive review of various operational and passenger-related facilities was undertaken. The DRM inspected the on-going Amrit Bharat Station related Development Works including new Station Master's room, panel room, passenger amenities related infrastructure. He also visited the Goods Yard and reviewed the remodeling work of GOGH Station as well the Railway areas of Goods yard side.

Prior to the station inspection, a window trailing inspection was carried out from Alipurduar Junction Railway Station to Gosaigaonhat Railway Station. During the inspection, the condition of railway tracks, bridges, overhead electrical installations and other railway assets along the section were closely examined.

As a part of Swacchata Hi Seva, 2026 campaign, cleanliness drive has been undertaken by Alipurduar Division on a large scale.

With a Mission to fulfil our promise 'Clean Railway, Green Railway, our shared responsibility', all officers and staff along with the youths, volunteers, common people are being encouraged to participate in cleanliness drive around Railway colonies, stations, office & establishment surroundings etc.

It may be remembered that Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 was launched on 17th September'26 with pledge taking ceremony to keep our mother country clean and green.

Sri Devendra Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Alipurduar, Sri S.Kamei, Addl Divisional Rly Manager, Sri Manas Chakraborty, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer and other senior officials have also been participating in the 'Shramdaan' activities everyday.

पूर्वोत्तर सीमा रेल के अलीपुरद्वार मंडल में दिनांक 21.09.2026 से 05.10.2026 तक आयोजित राजभाषा पखवाड़ा समारोह 2026 कार्यक्रम के अनुसार आज दिनांक 21.9.26 को मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री देवेंद्र सिंह ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर राजभाषा पखवाड़ा समारोह का शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर अपर मंडल रेल प्रबंधक श्री एस. कामेई , उप मुख्य राजभाषा अधिकारी श्री रत्नेश, राजभाषा अधिकारी श्री चंडी चरण बड़ो सहित अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

इस दौरान मंडल राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति की बैठक भी आयोजित की गई। जिसमें अधिकारियों के द्वारा महत्व पूर्ण सुझाव दिए गए!

विभिन्न स्टेशनों पर हिंदी भाषा के प्रयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने एवं हिंदी के प्रचार-प्रसार के उद्देश्य से विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों एवं प्रतियोगिताओं, जैसे निबंध, टिप्पण एवं प्रारूप लेखन, भाषण तथा हिंदी क्विज आदि का आयोजन किया जाएगा। प्रतियोगिताओं में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले विजेताओं को उचित पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया जाएगा। Ministry of Railways, Government of India Northeast Frontier Railway
