Kerala Aqua Ventures International Ltd (KAVIL) is a company established by Government of Kerala for the development of ornamental fish production and export. The principal objectives of the company were to make interventions aimed at mass farming of good quality ornamental fishes in appropriate areas and to offer a common platform for providing strategic services and marketing capacity. ng the first of its kind in India in the tropical pet fish sector. It was established in the year2007 and officially commenced its business in the year 2008. Chief Minister of Kerala is the Chairman and the Hon. Minister for Fisheries is the vice Chairman of KAVIL.
