He has worked in various departments for the Government of Rajasthan such as District Collector of Jaipur, Municipal Commissioner of Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Director of Horticulture, Additional Commissioner & Secretary of Jaipur Development Authority, Regional Transport Officer, Jaipur, Additional Commissioner of Exercise Department, A.D.M., S.D.M, D.S.O, D.E.O., B.D.O. and various other posts in a career spanning over 36 years. His areas of interest are History, Culture, Philosophy ,Theology, Good Governance ,Human and Social Development , Capacity Building. He is an advocate of Liberal Democracy and Democratic Decentralisation , believes in Social Justice , Humanism, Altruism , Science and Technological advancement. He believes that the Fourth Revolution will disrupt and change humanity. He advocates that critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity is the future of education. He is capable of identifying real from virtual issues and believes that if you are not capable of mastering the technology , the technology will master you. Believes that a new world and a better world will emerge out in the days to come. He also has keen interest in Hindu-Urdu poetry and Sufi, Punjabi , Classical Music , Art and Literature. For him, Reading is a habit and he is a qualified dietitian in Community Health and Nutrition. He exercises a lot ranging from yoga, strength training and more than 10 to 15 kilometre walking and Jogging everyday. He has never visited a doctor so far and has never fell ill till date.
