As part of this engagement, AISF and Sarvam will also explore opportunities around the proposed AI Centre of Excellence (AI-CoE) and other strategic AI initiatives relevant to the State including talent and capacity building, startup enablement, citizen-centric innovation and solutions relevant to Assamโ€™s unique socio-economic, linguistic, and regional landscape.

The TEJAS (Transforming Entrepreneurial Journeys Across States & Districts) Programme, supported by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India under Startup India in association with Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation under Department of Innovation, Incubation and Startups will be conducted across 7 districts of Assam during June 2026.

The TEJAS Programme aims to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup ecosystem awareness among students and youth, particularly in aspirational and underserved districts. The initiative focuses on building entrepreneurial capabilities through structured sessions on enterprise development, mentoring, and access to ecosystem support.

The programme is aligned with the Government of Indiaโ€™s objective of strengthening entrepreneurship in aspirational districts and enhancing livelihood opportunities through enterprise-led growth.

As part of the Assam schedule, the programme will be organised in association with Distrtict Library, Barpeta on June 04 2026
