🌧️ In the heavy rain, our tea garden workers still toil in the fields — soaked, shivering, yet unbroken. Every leaf they pluck carries their sweat, pain, and silent sacrifice. 💔

But what do they receive in return?
⚠️ Poverty wages that cannot feed their families.
⚠️ No land rights, though they have lived on these estates for generations.
⚠️ Broken promises, while the Plantation Labour Act remains only on paper.

They are the backbone of Assam’s tea industry — without them, there is no tea, no economy, no pride. Yet, they remain landless and underpaid.

When will justice reach the gardens? When will wages and land rights be reality, not just promises?

It’s time for change. It’s time to stand with them. ✊

Despite the sweltering heat, our tea garden workers continue to labor with dedication. As a demonstration of care and solidarity, Attsa Halwating Primary Unit distributed cool drinks to provide some respite from the summer heat. Saluting the spirit of our hardworking brothers and sisters! 🌞💪
