In a major breakthrough in ongoing crackdown on organised criminal networks, Anti Gangster Task Force ( ) Punjab,in a joint operation with Tarn Taran Police arrests Sukhbir Singh, prime accused in the heinous murder of Sarpanch Bachittar Singh @ Bikkar in September 2024.

Arrested person is a habitual offender with a criminal history of NDPS Act violations, Arms Act cases, and snatching incidents. The accused was wanted in an FIR registered at PS Sarhali, Tarn Taran.

Further investigation is underway to identify his associates and unearth the full extent of his criminal activities.

ਐਂਟੀ-ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਟਾਸਕ ਫੋਰਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮਿਤੀ 11.03.2025 ਨੂੰ ਤਰਨਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਲਟੋਹਾ ਸੰਧੂਆਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਈ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜੈਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਿੰਡ ਵਲਟੋਹਾ ਨੇੜੇ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਵਾਰ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਜਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਵਲਟੋਹਾ 'ਚ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਹਮਲਾ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਾਸੂਵਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ₹30 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
