ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਗੈਰਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਤਿੰਨ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ 06 ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਖੇਪਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਕੈਂਟੋਨਮੈਂਟ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਰਮਜ਼ ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਅਗਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ।

Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused were in contact with -based smugglers through social media platforms, facilitating the smuggling of illegal arms and supplying them to criminal elements. The consignments were retrieved and further supplied to criminal elements across .

An FIR has been registered at PS Cantonment, under relevant provisions of the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway to establish forward and backward linkages and dismantle the entire network.

ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਥਾਣਾ ਭਿੰਡੀ ਸੈਦਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਗ੍ਰਨੇਡ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਝਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਆਈ.ਐਸ.ਆਈ. ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਸੀ। ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ-ਅਧਾਰਤ ਹੈਂਡਲਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।

Preliminary investigation reveals that the module was backed by ’s ISI. The accused were in contact with a Pak-based handler operating from abroad, who was directing terror activities in .

On the intervening night of March 29–30, 2026, the accused retrieved hand grenades, conducted reconnaissance, and carried out the attack. The module had been radicalised and motivated to target police establishments, with promises of substantial financial rewards for executing the attack.

An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Explosive Substances Act, UAPA, BNS, and the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway to establish forward and backward linkages and to dismantle the entire network.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਗੁਪਤ ਸੂਚਨਾ ‘ਤੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ 16.8 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
