Anantnag, Aug 26 : In an inspiring story of sacrifice and brotherly love, Peerzada Muneeb Shameem Haji, son of Shameem Ahmad Haji, a resident of Khiram area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, has qualified the NEET-UG 2026 examination.
Muneeb credited his remarkable achievement to the extraordinary sacrifices and hard work of his younger brother, Burhan Shameem Haji.
According to Muneeb, Burhan left his own studies and started working at a local roti-making shop to support his elder brother’s education and NEET preparation.
What makes the story even more inspiring is that whatever salary Burhan earned from his job, he gave the entire amount to his elder brother for his studies and preparation. Burhan did not spend anything on himself and dedicated all his earnings to supporting Muneeb’s dream.
Muneeb said that his younger brother played a crucial role in his success and that this achievement would not have been possible without Burhan’s selfless sacrifice, love and unwavering support.
The achievement has brought pride to the Khiram area and stands as a touching example of brotherly love, sacrifice and determination.
