URGENT ATTENTION NEEDED: Stray & Abandoned Horses Posing Severe Danger on Anantnag Roads .
With the off-peak tourist and winter season setting in, there is a alarming rise in stray and unsupervised horses wandering freely across major roads and highways in Anantnag espically Kp road. Driven by hunger and harsh snowfall, these animals roam onto high-speed corridors, causing severe traffic hazards and damaging local farmers' crops in winter too..
These wandering horses pose an extreme threat to commuters—especially two-wheeler riders—particularly during night time when visibility is low. Sudden encounters on arterial roads are leading to life-threatening vehicular collisions, endangering human lives and inflicting tragic injuries on the animals themselves.
We respectfully appeal to the Tehsildar Anantnag East and local administration to intervene immediately and issue concrete orders to address this critical issue.
