A currency-note garland (Mahraz Maal) was found some time ago, around 1st August, in the area between J&K Bank Vessu and Khidmat Centre Vessu, near Jamia Masjid Vessu.

If anyone has lost or misplaced it, they may contact us and provide proper identification/details to claim it.

Please share this message so that it reaches the rightful owner.

Update Regarding Our Earlier Post

We would like to inform the public that the concerned hospital personnel at Vessu Primary Health Centre have acknowledged the issue and have apologised for their absence/irresponsible conduct during duty hours.

In view of their apology and assurance to perform their duties responsibly, we are deleting our earlier post regarding the unattended ticket counter and poor attendance.

At the same time, this should serve as a clear warning to all staff entrusted with public duties: please remain present during your designated duty hours, perform your responsibilities sincerely and ensure that patients and the general public do not face unnecessary inconvenience.

Public service comes with responsibility, accountability and commitment. We hope that such lapses will not be repeated in the future and that the concerned staff will maintain the standards expected from a public health institution.

Our intention is not to target any individual, but to ensure accountability and better public service

It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the demise of Gh Hassan Khanday, son of Mohd Ramzan Khanday, resident of Khanday Mohalla, near Yateem Trust. He was known for his soft-hearted nature, humility, kindness and pious character. His gentle disposition and warm-hearted dealings with people earned him love and respect in the community. His passing is an irreparable loss to his family, relatives, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, shower His endless mercy upon him, and grant patience and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. The Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B) Sub-Division Vessu has issued a public notice directing all shopkeepers, contractors, house owners, and the general public to remove unauthorized construction material, debris, sand, gravel, bricks, timber, scrap, or any other material dumped on roadsides, footpaths, drains, and the Railway Approach Road within 3 days.

⚠️ Failure to comply within the stipulated time will result in the Department removing the material at the owner’s risk and cost, with further legal action as per law.

The area around J&K Bank in Vessu has become a dumping spot due to the absence of a proper waste management system.This is not just an eyesore—it is a serious public health and environmental concern.
We urge the concerned authorities to immediately install waste collection facilities and start regular garbage disposal in Vessu.
Ignoring this issue puts public health, the environment, and the dignity of the community at risk. We urge the BDO to take this matter seriously and ensure that a proper waste management system is started without any further delay.

Our village deserves cleanliness, not neglect.
