A legacy carried forward since 3 generations, as a small scale Walnut trading unit in 1955 to a key market player, in the large scale, domestic and international markets at present. The legacy started with our great grandfather Mr. “Mohammed Abdullah” in 1955, when he ventured to establish a
business set up in 1955, dealing with the small scale trading of walnuts and walnut kernels. Rais Ahmad Hafiz, envisioned a new strategy, mission and goals for the existing business and formed the trading company in the name of “KASHMIR WALNUTS” - under the registration of DIC ANT, APEDA, and DGFT. With a 60 years+ walnut trading expertise under the belt, last 15 years has witnessed a steady business growth and augmented client base in domestic and international markets. Few more exquisite products like Morels and Saffron have been added to our product portfolio. Rais Ahmad Hafiz – the key players, took the family vision to a new horizon by adapting to the ever increasing competition and demand in the market. They created a phenomenal transformation in the processing area by implementing the state of art equipment’s and modern machinery to increase the production whilst maintaining the quality standards. Our current processing unit has an annual production capacity of 1000 metric tons of walnut kernels, 500 metric tons of Shelled Walnut and about 50 metric tons of Morels. Our USP is our strong and sustainable purchase network that enables us to buy directly from the farmers topped by a start of art processing infrastructure capabilities.
