ADDC Anantnag reviews progress of Agriculture, allied sectors
Stresses timely completion of HADP/JKCIP targets
ANANTNAG, JUNE 17:
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), District Nodal Officer, HADP/JKCIP Anantnag, Vikas Ahlawat (IAS), today chaired a review meeting of Agriculture and allied sectors to assess the progress achieved under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Jammu & Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP), and related initiatives in the district.
The meeting was attended by CAO, CAHO, DD Fisheries, CHO, DSHO, DSO, AMO HPM, SDAOs, BVOs, HDOs, Inspectors, AEOs, Sericulture Assistants and other officials of Agriculture and allied departments.
During the meeting, a detailed review of key performance indicators was undertaken, including Daksh Kisan completion, Krishi Udyami (KU) registration and reporting, farm registrations, e-KYC, JKCIP applications, approvals, credit linkages, fund utilisation and implementation of CSS/flagship schemes.
While reviewing the progress, it was informed that 20,720 farmers have been enrolled under Daksh Kisan, out of which 15,811 farmers have successfully completed the course, achieving 76.31% completion. The district has also recorded registration of 55,341 farmers, with 25,836 farm registrations completed under the prescribed framework.
The meeting was informed that 154 Krishi Udyamis have been onboarded in the district, with 8,900 daily reports submitted, reflecting continued monitoring of field-level activities. Under tracking initiatives, 15,180 units have been tracked through the OTA platform, achieving 95.59% progress.
Reviewing the JKCIP progress, it was informed that against the targeted Farmer Organisations in JKCIP blocks, 5,752 applications have been received, of which 3,679 applications have been approved. The meeting also reviewed the status of credit applications, sanctions and disbursement under various interventions.
Addressing the meeting, the ADDC directed all concerned officers to intensify field-level monitoring, ensure expeditious disposal of pending cases and improve convergence among departments for achieving the targets under HADP and JKCIP. He emphasised timely completion of registrations, KYC approvals, application processing and effective implementation of schemes aimed at enhancing the income and livelihood opportunities of farmers.
The officers were further directed to conduct regular reviews at their respective levels and ensure that bottlenecks affecting implementation are resolved promptly
