Darbar held at 17 JKAP IR Hqrs APC Mattan:
Mattan, September 01: Today a Darbar of the personnel of 17 JKAP IR, who were deployed on duty during Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2026, was conducted at the Battalion Headquarters by Shri Zahid Aziz Samoon-JKPS, worthy Commandant 17 JKAP IR in presence of all the GOs of the unit.
During the Darbar, the worthy Commandant congratulated and appreciated all the personnel for their commendable performance, dedication and professionalism shown while performing their duties during SANJY-2026. He also lauded their commitment and disciplined conduct, which contributed to the smooth and secure conduct of the Yatra.
The Commandant also interacted with the personnel and heard their problems, difficulties and concerns faced during the course of their deployment and sought feedback regarding their welfare and assured them that their genuine issues would be examined and addressed on priority.
The worthy Commandant emphasized that the welfare of the personnel remains one of the foremost priorities of the Battalion and encouraged all ranks to continue performing their duties with the same dedication, discipline and commitment.
