Thirty underprivileged families were provided ration kits & 100 Masks in village- Ranjringpara P.O. Chandrapara, Kokrajhar by NTPC Bongaigaon employees through E-VOICE under CSR during on-going pandemic to promote use of masks
and following social distancing.

NTPC encourages employees to actively participate in community development programs.

NTPC’s ‘EVOICE’ (Employee Voluntary Organizations for Initiatives in Community Development) aims to internalise CSR and all employees are encouraged to volunteer for community based activities.

On 26 July 1999, the Indian Army successfully recaptured India's land from the intruders by successfully carrying out Operation Vijay during the Kargil War. In its memory, 26 July is now celebrated every year as Kargil Day.⁣⁣

This is the day to remember and pay homage to the martyrs who got Veergati while protecting the motherland. This day is dedicated to those who sacrificed themselves today for our tomorrow.⁣⁣

Their courage was higher than the Himalayas: In this war, about 527 of our brave warriors were martyred and more than 1300 injured, most of whom could not even see 30 spring of their lives. These martyrs carried out the supreme tradition of gallantry and sacrifice of the Indian army, which every soldier takes as "saugandh" before the tricolor.⁣⁣

The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Auraiya will soon start work on a 20 MW floating solar project.

The project is to be established at the reservoir of NTPC Auraiya Gas Power Project at Dibiyabpur in Uttar Pradesh.
