13 September — A Day of Remembrance

Today, I remember my beloved father, Late Mohammad Yusuf “Kuka” Parray, with love, pride and gratitude. His legacy and contribution to the social, political and sporting life of the general public continue to live in our hearts.

As his son, I feel a responsibility to preserve that legacy, not merely by remembering him on his death anniversary but by continuing to celebrate the ideals, relationships and spirit that defined his life.

Due to some unavoidable circumstances, the annual honouring ceremony in his memory has been postponed. However, the ceremony will certainly be held, and as we have done in previous years, his life, his legacy and his contribution will be celebrated with the same love and respect.

Always remembered. Forever missed. Never forgotten.
