Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, J&K, District Bandipora, successfully conducted the Inter-Zonal District Level Badminton Competition (AAG) at the ZPEO Ground, Bandipora. Bandipora, July 29: Continuing its commitment to promoting sporting excellence and nurturing young talent across diverse disciplines, the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports, J&K, District Bandipora successfully conducted Inter-Zonal District Level Chess and Table Tennis Competitions on 29 July 2026.

The Chess competition was organised at AAG Bandipora, while the Table Tennis competition was held at HS Bagh, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students representing different zones of the district. From the Pitch to the Court: YS&S Bandipora Sports Fiesta.

Directorate of Youth Services & Sports, J&K, District Bandipora, successfully conducted Inter-Zonal District Level (IZDL) and Inter-School Zonal Level (ISZL) competitions across different zones of the district, reaffirming its commitment to promoting sports and nurturing young talent.
The Inter-Zonal District Level (IZDL) Softball Competition for Girls was successfully organized at the ZPEO Ground, Bandipora, where teams from different zones participated with remarkable enthusiasm, discipline, and sportsmanship.
As part of the Inter-School Zonal Level (ISZL) activities, Zone Bandipora and Zone Quil conducted Cricket Trial-cum-Selection programmes at SK Stadium, Bandipora, and NMBHSS Kaloosa, respectively. The trials witnessed an impressive turnout of budding cricketers eager to showcase their skills and earn selection for higher-level competitions.
Meanwhile, Zone Sumbal and Zone Hajin successfully organized ISZL Badminton Competitions at Government Degree College (GDC) Sumbal and HSS Naidkhai, respectively. Young shuttlers displayed excellent technique, determination, and competitive spirit throughout the competitions.
The events were conducted smoothly under the supervision of the field staff of the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports, ensuring fair play, discipline, and a vibrant sporting atmosphere.
