A wave of celebration and optimism was witnessed across sections of the Shia Muslim community in Jammu & Kashmir following the announcement of a ceasefire in the recent conflict involving Iran and the United States.
Marking the occasion, Mr. Imran Ahmad Sofi, Youth State President of the Jammu & Kashmir United Awami League, organized a free community gathering in Bandipora. The event saw enthusiastic participation from local youth, who gathered in large numbers to express their sentiments and share in the spirit of unity and celebration.

In a commendable initiative aimed at empowering youth and promoting a healthy lifestyle, the State Vice President of Jammu & Kashmir United Awami League, Mr. Yasir saleem Malik, today distributed among local boys in Lawdara .
While interacting with the youth, Mr. Malik emphasized the vital role of sports in shaping a disciplined, energetic, and positive generation. Jammu Kashmir United Awami League organized a successful program at lati mohla klan dal , Srinagar, where prominent party leaders and members gathered to strengthen public outreach and party coordination.

The Jammu Kashmir United Awami League (JKUAL) wishes to inform the public about the recent development regarding the unfortunate attack on our District President.
In connection with the incident, a reconciliation meeting was held today in the presence of the police authorities and respected members of the public. During this meeting, the individuals involved in the attack openly apologized for their actions.
As a party committed to peace, unity, and social harmony, the Jammu Kashmir United Awami League believes in forgiveness and constructive resolution of conflicts. Considering the apology and in the larger interest of maintaining communal harmony, our party has decided to accept their apology and forgive those involved.
We reiterate our firm stand against violence in any form and emphasize the importance of dialogue, mutual respect, and lawful conduct in society.
The party also appreciates the role of the police and local community members in facilitating a peaceful resolution to this matter.
