R S Gowda, son of a hard working farmer Mr. Ramanna, is the lion of not only Vokkaliga Community, but the state of Karnataka, is known for getting work done with the lion’s speed and courage. At a very young age, he has a

chieved lots of good deed for the society. His foundation of education was laid in a Government School, Kannada medium school. He has proved that it is a myth that you can grow only if you study in an English medium school! He grew up studying in Vokkaliga Sangha’s free hostel and got the best values of the life while growing with the fellow Vokkaliga students. He is giving his best currently as the Engineer at Bengaluru Development Authority, Govt Of Karnataka , Where his Vision is to transform Bengaluru to an ideal global destination with high quality infrastructure, better quality of life by ensuring sustainable and planned development based on effective monitoring, regulation, through participatory and innovative approach. He plans, regulates, controls, monitors and facilitates urban development in Bangalore Metropolitan Area, to ensure sustainable and orderly growth.

Only due to their efforts were gods able to acquire Amruta and kill demons;
